Pre-Installation Evalutation. After gathering all of the required data and performing several tests, I will prepare a detailed analysis of each problem in the form of a written report. The report is broken down into the following components:

Statement of the Problem(s) – A brief introduction to the type and general nature of each problem.

Detailed physical description – Includes such things as the locations, height, width, shape, colour, severity and extent of each problem.

Claim history - A detailed description of the events leading up to the occurrence of each problem.

Testing - A description, with results, of each test performed. Tests will include moisture, humidity, dimensional and other measurements relevant to the claim. Samples may also be required for additional 3rd party testing. Photos will be taken to support the findings.

Applied Industry Standards - Reference to specific industry standards that are relevant to the claim. References will be made only to recognized industry documents.

Conclusion   - A summary statement of the cause(s) of each problem supported by all of the findings from the inspection and any applicable industry standards.

Identification of Cause - Based on all of the above, a naming of the responsible party(s).
